Terms of use

Effective November 5, 2026. California Injury Guide (californiainjuryguide.com) is operated by Winback Engine (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What California Injury Guide is

California Injury Guide is an independent directory of personal injury law firms licensed by the State Bar of California. We collect publicly available information — from each firm’s own website, official business listings and the State Bar of California’s public attorney profiles — and link to our sources. California Injury Guide is not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service. We do not give legal advice, we do not recommend, endorse or refer you to any lawyer, we do not take case details, and we are not a party to anything you arrange with a firm. Using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any listed lawyer.

Information can be wrong or out of date

Hours, practice areas, offices, languages, fee statements, photos and State Bar records change. Every detail is shown with its source and the date we checked it, but we can’t guarantee it is current or complete. Statements about fees, consultations, languages and availability are shown as the firm states them and are not independently verified. Always check the lawyer’s current record on the State Bar of California’s website (calbar.ca.gov) and confirm details with the firm before you rely on them. Nothing on California Injury Guide is legal advice; our guides are general information, and deadlines apply to legal claims: ask a lawyer about yours.

No endorsement, no ratings

Being listed is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a quality rating. The trust check is a list of facts with sources; a missing item means we couldn’t confirm it from a public source, nothing more. We don’t show ratings, reviews, testimonials, endorsements or case results, and listings are ordered alphabetically or by distance, not ranked.

Some listings are marked “Advertisement”. These are paid placements: a flat fee for visibility in a labelled spot, never a fee per lead, call, case or referral and never a share of legal fees. They are shown in their own labelled space, not as the first result of the directory list, and they never change a firm’s trust check, State Bar record, photos or sources. A paid placement is not a recommendation. More about paid placements.

Photos, names and logos

Photos are credited and linked to where they were published, usually the firm’s own website. Firm names and logos are shown only to identify the firm and belong to their owners. We don’t show photos that are AI-generated or scraped from map services.

If you own a photo, or you’re pictured in one, and want it removed, use the “Request removal” link on the photo or email hello@californiainjuryguide.com with the page link and your connection to the photo. We aim to remove it within 2 business days. You don’t need to prove anything for a removal; we’d rather take a photo down than keep one someone objects to.

Firms that claim a listing can choose to let us display photos from their website and social accounts. By ticking that box you confirm you own or have the rights to those photos and grant California Injury Guide a free, non-exclusive license to display them on your profile and in links to it. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and we’ll take the photos down.

Other corrections and removals

Anyone can suggest a correction from any profile. Firms can claim their listing for free. To ask us to remove a listing or any other content, email hello@californiainjuryguide.com.

Your submissions

When you submit a claim, correction or new business, you confirm the information is accurate and that you’re allowed to share it. We review submissions before anything changes on a public listing and may decline or edit them. Don’t submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share.

AI assistants and agent tools

Our agent tools (/mcp and the API described at /openapi.json) let AI assistants search the directory and read listings. They cannot send a request, a person’s details or case facts to any firm: contact is always by the firm’s own phone or website. Automated use is rate-limited; don’t use the tools to send unsolicited messages or to copy the directory in bulk.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no scraping at volume, no attempts to break security, no impersonating a lawyer or firm, and no automated submissions.

Links to other sites

We link to firm websites, the State Bar of California, other official registers and social accounts. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, prices or practices.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from a legal matter, an agreement with a firm, or a firm you find through the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of California. Questions: hello@californiainjuryguide.com.
