CORRECTIONS

Spotted a mistake?
Tell us.

We want every detail on California Injury Guide to match the State Bar of California record and what the firm itself publishes. When something is wrong or out of date, we fix it. Corrections are free, and you don’t need to work at the firm to send one.

How to send a correction.

Please do not send details of your accident, injury or case, private status links, passwords or personal documents. We are not a law firm and can’t help with a legal matter.

What happens next.

A person reviews every request before anything changes; sending the form does not edit a listing by itself. We check the suggested change against the firm’s own website, or the State Bar of California profile for license details, the same way we check every listing (see how we check). If the source confirms it, we update the listing and its check date. If we can’t confirm it, we leave the listing as it is or remove the detail that can no longer be supported — we don’t publish a fact without a source, even from a correction.

Requests about a photo you own or appear in are handled within 2 business days, as our terms state. If you sent your request through the form, your private status link shows its progress.

Law firms.

Firms can claim their listing for free to keep their offices, phone, hours and stated details current. Ownership is confirmed through a firm contact that was published before the request. Claiming a listing never changes its trust check or State Bar record.

Closed offices and license changes.

If an office has closed, a firm no longer handles personal injury cases, or a lawyer’s State Bar profile no longer reads Active, tell us. Once we confirm it on the firm’s site or the State Bar profile, the listing is updated or taken down.

Mistakes we find ourselves.

Our weekly source checks and full re-verifications catch many changes before anyone reports them. Those are corrected the same way: against the source, with a new check date on the listing.
